YouTube @ Hong Kong

I'm obsessed with YouTube. With YouTube, I can sit in front of the computer for whole day. I know, you too. And after I came to the US for college, I realized there's no one in Hong Kong who is like Kevjumba or nigahiga, and of course not Wong Fu Productions. I admire these people. They contribute a lot to the YouTube culture, helped to provoke many people to show who they are on YouTube. I thought, well, Hong Kong needs someone like them.

So, eminleo came out, mingjai14 came out. I thought they're cool. But I think Hong Kong still needs more of these people. More. Yeah and oceanho3000 is one of them!

haha

The reason why I am suddenly saying all these is because I saw this video:

This video echoes a vision I have: DSLR independent filmmaking. As filmmaking becomes more and more affordable, I believe it is a very precious opportunity for ordinary people like us to start making films for the general public to reflect on what is going on in our lives.

The big companies are not gonna do that for us. All they care about is money. We need MIRRORS. We need mirrors to look at ourselves. Film is the mirror; it has been a mirror for many of us on this planet since the beginning of the 20th century. We need it.

Anyone on this?
